What a pleasant surprise! I truly enjoyed this book and the narration by Jeff Hay was incredible. He was a joy to listen to and really brought all the characters to life.
It’s hard to deny that anime was the source of inspiration for some of his material. Tenchi Muyo came to my mind. I loved the anime growing up. This scratched that itch, but in a more mature way. This is not just some shallow harem comedy. Maybe it seems that way at first, but the character development is rewarding and the story builds into more than you would have expected.
I would recommend this book in a heartbeat and cannot wait for the next book to come out. Mr. Arand and Mr. Hays, you have succeeded in every way possible with this endeavor. Thank you!
