This is the second book I’ve listen from the serie (I skipped book 2).

I didn’t miss the second book and there are not many spoilers ether.

I still think the story could be better, but in this book I think the narration improved a lot, even though the naivety of the main character is still there.

Toby, our wonder dog, seams to have had some development the the earlier book but is role here is still minor.

There are a couple of chapters that are told from another female character point of view. Though interesting and rich, they sound odd in audiobook when the rest of the story is told in the first person. It’s nice to listen to them in context though and not separated as marketing bonus.

Overall a nice and original story, but still a too naïve style for such an “old” main character.
