Conner although not a bad narrator does need to slow down every now and then. It’s almost like he is rushing through parts. Still pretty easy to listen to thou.

I still can’t get past the fact that the series sounds vaguely similar to another but when writing mythical stories, there are bound to be many times when things like that happen. However I like Sarah’s spin on this one and it takes it from the more hard/intense stories of this style of book and makes it more cute not for the use of a better word. Remove the sex scenes and it remains very much a young adult style book in my honest opinion.

Not really one for cliff hangers, this does have something along those lines but I’m not 100% sure it would make people rush out and buy the next installment.

Once again, not a bad book but not great either. The writing has improved as I now get the feeling that Sarah is settling into these characters which makes for a better flow.
