I like this series, puns and all, and this is a fair addition. But it feels a lot smaller. I was left with the impression. that this wasn’t really its own story but rather just a book to get from book 1 to book 3. Basically, nothing important really happens in it beyond expanding the cast and setting the stage for the next book. I feel like this should probably have been included in what will now be book 3 rather than making it a stand alone.
