so first and foremost- I did love this book. it’s still a amazing fun book with more context for the world that Black and Blue are in.
obviously, Tom’s the best character; but that’s known fare and wide, he really and truly shines here.
If you like these type of reads, two amazing gay men being heart melting and warm Lily Morton never disappoints.
my only complaint is that around editing back in. when I first heard it I thought my old ear buds Finley were dieing and I paused the book menny times trying to understand what was going on! Later did my big brain kick in and I understood (and looking at the other comments) it was the editing. I think that kinda affect would be cool for a flash back seen, like if It’s another person’s perspective looking down into something else. but every time it happened I kepted getting token out of the narrative. nothing wrong really, it was still amazing but just a comment on the off change someone (like me) also had to buy new ear buds thinking there old ones shot out.
Joel Leslie is still a favorite and is amazing on every book I hear from him!
can’t wait for book 3!!
