This book has been on my wish list since I listened to the first book and I was surprised by the negative feedback. I’ll start by saying the Author did too good of a job rousing dislike for Zach 😆. With that said, I enjoyed getting a different view of the back story and following Zach for a bit in the story. He is still a bit of a hypocrite, but I can relate to him a bit more, a bit. Yes, I wanted more Ryun and at the end of the book I still want more Ryun but I also want to enjoy the author’s vision. I would have given the story 5-stars if not for the length of the character sheets. (Some are around 4 minutes and I expect them to get longer) I can’t blame the narrator for that, it’s the story’s focus on progression. I have a suggestion for audible and the author, at the beginning of the character sheet dialogue add a subchapter that can be skipped and a message directing readers to the correct page in the book for visual review if preferred (if possible it would be great if you could add print in the audible app for the reader to review vs going to the Ebook/book, some may not have access or the funds to purchase the book twice). if you have read this far I would also note the side stories seem out of place but by the end, they will resonate.
