Steamy, engaging, heartfelt story with action and a search for a deadly arsonist. The narrator did a good job with the two main characters and gave them character and life.
I enjoyed the characters in this story and found them both likable and interesting. It was also the struggle of a man, Beau, learning to make decisions that were good for him and to find love even when his family didn’t approve. Beau’s mother was a real controlling and destructive person. I really loved the ‘grandmothers’ and how incredibly fun and wise they were.
My favorite character was Tru. He was interesting, had layers and had such a big heart. I was so glad that he had his best friend and brothers to support him through some difficult times and to enjoy the good times too.
This is book 7 of the Hell’s Ankhor series and can be read as a stand-alone, however i do recommend reading in sequence because the characters are all interrelated to a group of men in a motorcycle club.
