These villains books are great.
Genuine laugh-out-loud moments that I find rare in other books of this genre. Gibson tries to masquerade these books as cheap schlock, but underneath is a sharp wit and a great sense of humor used to tell a fun and entertaining story.
Also, Kafer does a fantastic job with the characters. Especially Jackson. My favorite bit is hilarious and beyond 4th wall breaking.
Stay all the way to the end. Trust me
