Both writing and performance took a while to work properly. The producer failed to catch flawed dialogue accents and pacing early on in the book. But the reader gained his footing after five chapters and became the excellent performer of prior Omega Series books.
Similarly, Dalzelle brushed past the point of three or four previous books in the series with zero comment just to begin another plot line for Unleashed. Here again, it took a few chapters for the author to find his form, but the result was entertaining and the repartee between his characters finally found its humorous groove. Not their best effort, but still a fun romp across the quadrant.
