the story starts off strong , with good character development and immediately tells you the stakes that are involved which helps with the tension. the tension and sense of dread continues throughout most of the story. the ending was a little abrupt and anti-climactic. it seemed to just end with a lot of Side Stories not completed, like was Captain maddox’s origins, the alien ship ai, and so on. seemed more like fanfiction then an actual written story. slightly disappointing
