the start wasn’t necessarily slow, but in the latter half of the book the story really starts to shine. SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!
the dragon stuff doesn’t truly start till about three hours from the end, definitely does bait you into reading the next one but not in an irritating cliffhanger kind of way.
