The story felt weak at the beginning but improved over time. The “chosen ones” desire to break everything was uncomfortable to me. The more the author explored what was happening with Qube the more interesting the book was.
The swearing replacements were amusing.
I don’t think I’ll continue the series but I’d at least tentatively recommend this book.
