I liked the beginning but quickly after he arrived in the world I lost interest in the MC. He’s a common Joe with a hero complex but forced into the role of a villain but still tries to play hero anyway. Worst part is that he doesn’t even have the power to play the villain, let alone use those villainous powers for good. The reverb on some on the narration is horrendous and having another narrator never sounds right but having one only for 2 people? dumb. I like the idea behind the book but the execution was sub par at best. I’m sure others like it just fine but I don’t and hopefully this review saves someone from buying a book they might not like. If you can live with these things then the book isn’t bad.
