Anyone who listens to the beginning of this book sees that that the author can tell a good story. The book sucked me in with good character building and adventure. But by the middle of the story, the author lost her thread and her mojo. Instead of pulling us in with the good descriptions she proved capable of in the early part of the story, she starts telling. And listing. And her main character devolves from a smart and resourceful character to a vapid bore. Pissed me off because it didnt have to happen. The author is capable of decent storytelling. But it was pure tawdry and poorly written YA crap before long. A disappointment.
