So, the book started and I was seriously hooked. I really thought this could one of the great series…or at least a great first book. However, I found myself turning the book off….starts, stops…I couldn’t put my finger on the exact cause. I think, in hindsight, that the issue is the style of the reader/writer, combined with the repeated self reflections….but I even doubt that as I write the review. I will probably get book two, but only if I can’t find something else to fill the time.
The beginning of the book is really good though…recommend just for that.
