Absolutely fell in love with this series…didn’t even know it was a spin off…doesn’t affect this read at all!!
You find yourself rooting for the better con or slide of hand from the main character Carl and always wondering what the wizards will do.
A lot of fun to listen too. Most of the action is in space and there is always a chance for an astral drop in a pinch. Think about Han Solo on the run with and A-Team movie kind a vibe. Tons of blaster fights and a lot of gambling. The gambling was not always with cards and let me tell you, when you can steal a shuttle on live tv and get away with it, well don’t want to give to much away, but this group of misfits is worth the read or listen.
