I’ve come to love Down Chapman’s books, even though I’m not usually into this genre. It has been a while since I read anything from this series and as such I feel that this book would even work as a stand alone… well, the ending will leave you wanting to know more about how things turn out for the girls, but that’s to be expected in a series.
Though I enjoy this narrator’s work, I do feel there were areas that characters lacked inflection to add a layer of meaning to the character’s words. Other than that, she did an excellent job.
