I didn’t love it but didn’t hate it. the main character is somewhat whiney and petty. she is overall a good person though. what really irritated me was the inconsistencies. I have listened to 3 books and they all start and end the same. she doesn’t want to use magic because it’s cheating. then she’s ok with it.the next book she doesn’t want to again and for the same reason. it’s like she never decided to learn more at the end of the last book. the narrator doesn’t do well with most of the voices. she also makes the protagonist more irritating than if you were to read it yourself. so yeah the narrator is awful.
