Splits you apart then puts you back together!!!

Another 5-star book!

I am never disappointed with any book that I’ve listened to by Rick R. Reed. In fact this is my 3rd, 5-star listen. His artistry for painting pictures with words is amazing, I feel like I’m there. David Allen Vargo brings the words to life, those two are a match made in heaven.

I love that I can understand what it was like living during these times (I was in high school in the mid 70’s).

This story made me cry, made me smile and made me want to knock some sense into a few of these characters. There is always so much ‘real life’ in Rick’s writing, I guess that’s what appeals to me.

I listened to this in one setting I couldn’t put it down.
