not gonna lie I almost returned this. it took me a while to tolerate this narration. The only thing that kept me going was the story hooked me quickly, and the book has 10k positive reviews. by the end of the book, the narrator didn’t bother me, but at the beginning I felt like the guy was perpetually out of breath as he was reading the book.
if you can’t take the narration and don’t already listen at a speed of greater than 1x I highly recommend you adjust the speed until you can find a tolerable level and after a couple hours the writing will overshadow the reading. at least it did for me…
