WOW, I absolutely loved this audio book!
It was SO MUCH FUN, definitely gonna re-listen if I need cheering up.
The humor, adventure, characters and lighthearted fun were just perfect.
I thought the main character, Cal, was wonderful. Not your typical protagonist at all, but all the more surprising and fun for it.
Splurt was adorable, and the interaction between Splurt and Cal was endearing.
The other crew members were very well crafted too, I especially loved Miset.
The narration was outstanding. The character voices were impeccable, and Phil nailed the humorous tone of the book.
This is not just a story that is read to you, this is a top notch performance.
