The story is terrible. Bad dialog. Bad pacing. The concept isnt bad, but the writing is. It was a real slog to get through. I found myself shredding the bad story beats and detailed descriptions inserted into the middle of character dialogs. It’s like the writer didn’t even bother learning the basics of the craft. Banter between characters was flat or very cringe. Avoid this book if you value your time.
