Your first book was phenomenal. The depth you gave the characters, the world you built and the way it flowed was epic. I died laughing at someone forced to embrace the cringe at being the villain.

This book started right where the other left off and it was hilarious listening to more of the same and I was excited to see what would happen with the werewolf… and then in one chapter he went from unwilling cringe bad guy to sociopathic a**hat. In the first book and even with the fight right before class he was playing the part he had chosen to the best of his abilities and looking for ways to stay the villain. The little poison cloud student would have and should have been another “capture”… he had something from the first book that would allow him to breathe without problems and she would have helped in his dungeon boss room a lot.

I get the story you were going for and the turns you wanted to take to add depth, it was just too fast and too out of character from one book to the next. The pacing and his sociopathic slaughter just killed it for me. Thank you for the first book.
