“Sophia”. “Shall we play a game”?

This is the familiar trope of A.I. run amuck. Much to the instant dismay of all life in it’s perceived way. Drone warfare is rife to be utilized for the virtual eyes, ears and spear tip of any such dystopia. In that regard, this novel doesn’t disappoint. The obvious caveat being the limitations of the programmers and the limitations of rationale through machine learning.

Even through fiction: was it all truly a lack of oversight or were switches akin to “diplomatic immunity” baked in the cake?
