Ravensong enchanted me. It was the sequel to Wolfsong, and the next installment in the Green Creek Pack saga, but it was also so much more than just that. It was the exploration of choices and hard truths, of love and sacrifice, and hope. It was beautiful, enthralling, and left me shattered yet whole.

This book continues where Wolfsong left off, but also goes back and fills in a lot of details that were missing. We learn about Gordo’s past, his travels with Joe, Kelly, and Carter, and his love for Mark. The set up for the next book is also clear, but not in a way that feels cliched. Nothing about any of these books felt cliched.

Like all of T.J. Klune’s books, the plot and characterization is complex with both breadth and depth. There’s humor, angst, love, hot sex, and action. The book is extremely well written and Kirt Graves does a wonderful job with the audiobook.
