Nothing memorable but a fun listen. While doing chores. The characters are mildly interesting and I did finish wanting to learn more about them, hoping the author would dig deeper in the next book in the series. The science is trash, but that’s okay sometimes. The voice actor is decent, but it was difficult to distinguish characters during dialogue sometimes.
Frankly, my biggest gripe is that there is only one female character (or person that isn’t considered a “he”) in the whole dang book! Really?!? And the woman only shows up in the epilogue. Don’t know if the author is clueless, nervous about writing in a female voice, or doesn’t care that women read sci-fi too and would like to see themselves in stories where they aren’t the basically developed love interest, but I’ll definitely stop at the second book if things don’t improve.
