some this is just not realistic.

the way some of the characters act, particularly claire are just not believable. the whole thing seems contrived and people have motives for the stories sake rather then what their motives would be in certain situations.

Alex is an absolutely terrible character. the only way I can make it fit in my head is that to be an avatar you need certain affinities and he is like the lady’s only choice. excellent example of failing their way to success…. which never works in any semblance of reality.

I’ll read book 4 but really only because of the reviews currently praising it. if it doesnt turn around fast I’ll be dropping it. that is just how little versimillitude there is in my opinion.
