There were times I found myself skipping forward or impatiently waiting for what I considered extraneous dialog to pass by, but from a third book it wasn’t bad.

I find third books to be the weakest in a series. A publisher may ask an author to stretch a plot line to get more books out, it an author experienced unplanned for success in a first book and had nothing thought up past a second book plot line.

This book stayed true to the characters developed in the fist two. Sonething I find rare and refreshing in a third book.
