you’re introduced to the female main character read by a rough, gravely male voice. No tonal changes or anything to differentiate between the characters. also when he hits the letter “S” in any given word he whistles like a tea kettle. That kept distracting me so badly I could hardly finish the story. Which was good. The plot was well thought out and the character development was good. there are enough new things going on to keep the action moving. I may have to see if I can get this series in paperback. the narrator ruined it for me.
