Good survivalist story with likeable characters (and some believable villains). Was unclear on a few points of how/why certain things for so desperate so quickly, as the story bounced passed how widespread the triggering event was pretty quickly. If you take it on faith that enough happened to make things go bad that quickly and completely, the rest is good listening. Very glad I bought the all-in-one set of four books. Made for a nice little listening marathon.
