Storyline was mostly good, with pretty solid character development. I feel like the guilt combined with not knowing how to feel about what they had to do to survive was fitting to the environment these characters love in. However, there were a lot of wash, rinse, repeat story arcs throughout. A lot of the same story different place in Texas pieces. But, the author still managed to change enough bits to keep the story flowing and interesting as well, with the ending leaving several unanswered questions.
