I read/listen to a lot of books in this general genre (urban fantasy?), and many are decent but don’t quite deliver the quality the reader hopes as s/he continues through the book. This one definitely delivers. It’s a bit smarter than usual; less predictable; the characters are more authentic; and it’s rather funny. If the author had another book on Audible, it’d likely be my next download. I could see Mr. Munz becoming a notable author in the genre. The narrator (Travis Baldree) also did an exceptional job (to the point that I intend to look at his other works).
