Dumped by his long term boyfriend who told him he was too old and overweight, Henry decides its time to take his life back. What he doesn’t count on though is the kind, sweet, and oh so sexy personal trainer who steals his heart.

Lets start with the overall story. I always enjoy a story that tackles real issues such as obesity and poor body image. It is a very hard thing for authors to do in a respectful and realistic way, but N.R, Walker does an amazing job. Henry doesn’t just magically turn into a happy person with the perfect body. There are struggles as he learns to love himself for all the right reasons. The story also manages to be very funny and sexy. There is a good balance.

All of the characters are great but Henry is the best! He is so funny and quirky, its a very endearing quality. He and his struggles are very easy for the reader to relate to. Reed is perfect for Henry. He is sweet, honest, and humble. He sees beyond a persons physical looks. There are plenty of great supporting characters as well.

Joel Leslie’s narration is what gave this that extra nudge to a 5 star review for me. I can not think of a better person to be the voice of Henry. Reed sounded a bit oafish but not in a bad way.

If I was recommending this for someone I would definitely say to go with the audible edition!
