I liked the story, it was entertaining and fun to follow. The twists were were good! I agree with other reviewers that the sex scenes were jarring in that they didn’t really flow into the story well like they had in the first book. The pregnancy surprises were a little annoying and random but I did like the parallels it brought. Some things were just top unrealistic for me and took me out of the story trying to figure out how they were possible.
I did not like this voice actor and whoever edited this one did a horrible job. I mainly listened to this in my car and having to go back and forth between raising and lowering the volume every other character dialogue was frustrating and annoying and did not help the voice actor’s performance at all. All of the female voices were at a 25 and male voices were at 100 to put it in perspective. I could barely hear some parts, and then the overlapping of sentence cuts. I got through the audiobook but it wasn’t pleasant.
I look forward to reading the next book, I enjoy Liam and Melody and can’t wait to see what’s next for them. Just hope it’s a more pleasant listening experience.
