The performance is pretty good but it reads like a cultivation textbook 9/10 of the time.
MC is a realistic and consistent well thought out character. I wanted to like this installment in the Divine Dungeon World/universe but it’s even slower than the first Artorion book. That one was already near my limit on wordy world-building mechanics, especially since it’s set in a world where we already learned most of it from the original series.
