This book was a fantastic palate cleanser! I’m in-between a number of series right now, and this stand-alone was just the fun romp that I needed to get me through. I have listened to MANY of Robinson’s stories, and they never disappoint. This was certainly no exception. I especially got a giggle from the not-so-subtle jabs at a particular public personality.
Jeremy Robinson & Jeffrey Kafer are an ideal pairing. The way Kafer delivers Robinson’s often cheeky dialog is perfection. I hadn’t heard Emily Woo Zeller narrate before. I enjoyed her portrayal of the female characters emensely. I would perhaps have had Jeffrey do all of the male characters though. Machelle Williams was a nice addition to the story telling at the end.
Overall, I would give this book 2 thumbs way up! Too entertaining to miss out.
