I couldn’t have loved this book any more than I did! Though, as a lover (and maker) of horror, I believe I am the target audience for this kind of tale.
‘Flashback’ is a story about a couple living their lives, driving down the interstate, when they suddenly come face to face with what appears to be a living dinosaur. As the story evolves (hah!), we discover what forces may have caused the world to roll back in time, for the weather to boil and for prehistoric monsters to rise. I can’t say more for fear of spoilers, but I will say that this book has a fantastic cast of characters – dynamic, compelling and authentic.
I also can’t say enough good things about Travis Baldree. He is out-of-this-world fantastic with narration and he doesn’t disappoint here. I would recommend this story to absolutely anyone who enjoys fun horror – this one is really a doozy! I will likely listen again! 10/10
