I loved this story so much! First off its about an older couple—YAy! Its nice to read about people in their 40-50’s just trying to live their life. Secondly its a sneaky “who is the bad guy” story? I could jot figure it out!! Well done Ms Barker, well done! Thirdly the characters are amazing and I enjoyed the interaction between them.
Jonas comes off grouchy but once he calms down he is one of the best guys! I love his dedication to his job and crew. Alex has an amazing ability. I enjoyed listening to her workouts with the horses. Plus that son if hers is no slouch!
I did listen to this on audio. Ada Sinclair and Connor Crais are the narrators and they do an outstanding job! This is a very enjoyable listen and I can not wait for the next in the series!!
