This could have been really good if the main character had different motivations. I started to lose interest when the MC started investing in solitude. i’m not interested in a book with only one character. That aside, the limited characters were flat, including the main character. The dialogue was laughable. Usually, it takes an author at least 3 or 4 books before his main character becomes the person in his world “who knows best”, but this author did it in only a few podcasts. It’s not an attractive trait in a character. This was interesting enough to keep me going but ultimately goes no where. You could get the same experience narrating your buddy playing dungeons and dragons in his mom’s basement.
