I am so glad I picked this up! It is a real steal for 1 credit. It does a great job recreating the feel of Firefly without being a clone. Albeit a bit wary at first, I came to really enjoy the inclusion of magic to this sci fi universe. Morin did a great job keeping his universe internally consistent despite what should have been a nightmare of opportunity for “well why didn’t they just do [x] again?” moments. I really enjoyed it, I’m sorry to be done with it, and thankful to hear the author will be writing more within the black ocean universe. Also, Naramore did an absolutely wonderful job narrating! His work here was truly impressive and I’ll be looking for his name on future purchases.
