If you have read the previous books, then you understand the delicate dance of mystery, romance, inner struggles and comic relief. Lane and Felix continue their adventures and become embroiled in a family feud over an inheritance. There are returning characters and a few new ones that I hope will be seen in coming stories. I especially felt for Cal and would love to read his story and hope he gets his HEA.
Joel Leslie just gets better and better. I don’t even bother with reading the ebook if I see that he’s narrating. It is unbelievable that one person could voice so many distinct characters and convey the action and emotion so completely. He gives Felix the perfect “whine!”
I totally recommend this audio book and wait desperately for the next installment.
