While a little confusing at first (Characters are named but you don’t know if they are mer folk or something else and unless you know this is a shifter book you have no clue the various creatures are going to shift to human) this story is absolutely delightful! The narrator did a terrific job, especially nailing Dover’s puppy like exuberance. I have read other books by this author and am always delighted by the fun and zany secondary characters; I never finish one book without wanting to know what is next for the big group of family and friends. This one is sure to leave a smile on your face and I am impatiently awaiting the next in the series!
