This story is a nonsensical roller coaster. Do you like stories where the main character is praised and loved for no reason and is always just in time for the action and falls from one bad disaster movie trope to the next? Then this book is for you! It started terribly and I wanted to return the book there and then but oh boy, it just gets more and more off the rails. I tried explaining some “plot points” to people but no one believes me.
