I love cozies but oh my goodness, a father (retired cop, no less) coerced by his wife into sitting in on his daughter’s book reading of her latest romance novel . . . a racy ordeal, well, I can do without it. And I really dislike a family that kowtows to a bossy parent/spouse long after that should have stopped. This book is just too frivolous and full of high school type emotions for me to be interested.
