I actually liked this book. Crazy bcuz I wanted to not like it lol. Aaron imo, is very controlling. A different kind of control than the other Townsend men. Throughout the whole book I couldn’t get past the way he specifically threatened/manipulated Patience into marrying him. Back in time, Patience told Aaron “i love you”. He said nothing and she was just supposed to deal with it. Now, Aaron said it, Patience couldn’t tell him she loved him back and he has a meltdown demanding y can’t she say it. Smh it was his constant inconsideration for me. I NEVER got around to liking him and struggled with how Patience could lie him too although they had a certain “connection” sexually that women like myself aren’t in to. His disconnect with Patience’s emotions, entitlement and dismissivness gave me the ‘ick’. Then I leaned of his birthday/zodiac sign (not real heavy in believing everything said about the signs but it’s interesting) in the book and it all made sense to me. This particular sign I’ve NEVER gotten along with lol. All in all, like I said, I liked the book and love the Townsend series.
