Jack Thorne is a hot mess, but I like him nonetheless. Yes, his petty behavior can be childlike and he holds a grade better than your worst enemy, but he has busted his moral compass completely. Daggers and Bear bring the evolving friendship that is slowly bringing Jack around to more humane thoughts. I like that Jack doesn’t compromise on his moral principals of slavery and goes after the slavers with raw violence.
Really a great book and I definitely recommend this series.
