I was a little uncertain at the beginning. Like most stories you learn to love the characters and want to follow their adventures. The science/magic was actually an interesting take. something original that added to an original universe.
Overall I recommend. I actually purchased the next box set of audio books before finishing this set.
Recommended for extremely long road trips or daily commutes. Best bang for the credit!
