I got this book because it was on sale. I didn’t know anything about it or what to expect. I had just finished a different novel that had to do with space (not my typical book, just happened to work out that way) and I couldn’t help but make comparisons between that book and this one. Throughout the majority of this book I was left wanting more. The story just felt a little slow and lacking something to keep my interest. I only continued to listen because I don’t like leaving books unfinished. That was how it went until the last two hours or so. It was around there when I got hooked. It was like a switch got flipped and I found myself not wanting the story of Charlie to end. This isn’t the best book I’ve ever listened to, but it grabbed my attention and I can honestly say I’m looking forward to the second book in this series.
