The story started out rough for me. It was hard to sit through all the item and ability descriptions, but I get why they were necessary. It wasn’t until after Ned finished the starting zone quest line that things really started to pick up for me. In stark contrast, I could hardly stop listening for the final chapters. I could feel the adrenaline as if I were playing the game myself as Ned and the guild fought through the end raid.

Fair warning: listening to this book will put you in the mood to play your favorite MMO, and your productivity may plummet as a result.
