Has Outpost Hell turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, not the entire genre. I love space stories and I was intrigued by the premise of the book. Space marines on a heist mission…? Give me more. But it didn’t live up to my expectation.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
It did. The pacing was kinda slow and the narrator read the story as slowly. When you see the book is just 7 hour long and the story hasn’t moved much in the first hour, you know it’s going to be a drag.

Who speaks like the marines in this book..!! There were quite a few dialogues in this book that sounded like highschool teenager’s lines. “Buttercup” ffs..!!
